A Captain for Ottawa: Congratulations, Thomas Chabot

A Captain for Ottawa

Congratulations, Thomas Chabot.

The Ottawa Senators have named Thomas Chabot the 11th captain in franchise history. It is a well-earned moment for a player who has represented this city with composure, resilience and a standard of professionalism that speaks for itself.

As the longest-serving active Senator, Thomas has earned the trust of teammates, fans and everyone who has watched him put Ottawa first.

Leadership, made official

The captaincy is more than a letter. It reflects leadership when the game is demanding, when the room needs a steady voice, and when the city is looking for someone to rally behind.

Thomas has long carried that responsibility. Today, it is official.

From our home to yours

Having had the chance to get to know Thomas throughout the home-buying process, I saw the same character that makes this moment feel so right: grounded, thoughtful and quietly determined.

It was a real privilege to welcome Thomas and his entire family to Ottawa as they found their first home in the city. From the start, it was clear they were ready to put down roots and make Ottawa home.

Thomas is a valued client and someone we are proud to celebrate. Congratulations on this remarkable milestone.

Ottawa is behind you. Here’s to a memorable season ahead. Go Sens Go.
